The underdogs have got more heart than the champion teams in this years edition of WORLD CUP football.It doesn't matter what your past records are every team has to perform to prove themselves what they are worth of and claw their way to the victory.
It was lovely to watch Algeria play against England,Mexicans play France and without doubt the Serbians play against the mighty Germans who smashed the Australians in their world cup opener match.
So the match results in the group stages show some mighty ones in the football world will fall out in the initial phase itself,more might be awaiting.This world cup might belong to the UNDERDOGS.Chears to them.When would be the time the Indian team would appear as the underdogs in world cup as both North & South koreans as well as Japan do from the ASIAN side !!

Dider Drogba - The African Thunderstroke

A rare and seemingly unassailable career record by a striker in this world cup. It is none other than the Ivory Coast and Chelsea super striker Didier Drogba.This in-form African player is one of the best striker in the world currently. In 2004 Chelsea spends about 4crore usd to buy him when he was 26.now he is 31, but he is still in the ground and always in the goal scoring way.
Drogba is the captain and all time top goal scorer of Ivory Coast. Physical strength+power+determination+brain +talent that is Drogba.I think these all factors made him the most dependable player of the English premier league champions Chelsea.
Unfortunately Drogba’s has to face Brazil, Portugal and Korea in group stage in the group of death. It will be the greatest disappointment for the fans allover the world, moreover all who loves the game if his fate is an early exit. Holland Equals Total Football
In fifa10 the orange team is not considered as a hot favorite or title contender. But in my point of view Holland is one of the best in the contest. They have some finest players in the world. But as compared to Brazil, Spain, England or Argentina, they don’t have such a big lineup and bench strength, but it is not what matters in football. It is the team combination and team work, and the deustche are one of the few teams blessed with both.
The tactics and playing style of Holland team is very much similar to the most aggressive and attractive English premier league. That’s what we saw in the previous European championship of nations. They won all the three games in a group of death including France and Italy in the league round to qualify for the next round as group champions. Before that in Germany 2006, they couldn’t go beyond pre-quarter.now the orange army will have nothing in their mind but the hunger to win the championship.
Holland has created so many world class players like Johan Craif, Van Basten, Neeskens and Franc Rjykard.These names are written for ever in football history. But they couldn’t keep the legacy up to the expectations. This time they are ready to fight till death and they have resources too for it. There are so many explosives in Holland’s arsenal this time. ARGEN ROBBEN, SNEIDGER and VAN PERSIE are the few among them. With the help of these fantastic three Holland won all the matches in the qualifying stage and victories with 4 and 5 goal margins in the warm up game.
Robben and Sneidger have proved themselves with Bayern and inter respectively. It was because of them only these two teams reached the final.Persie the goal scoring machine of Arsenal missed the major part of the season due to injury but regain his form within a short period. Hope these fabulous three will make it and bring back the Total Football...

Even though the present condition of the French team is seemingly pathetic, all the football experts across the world are predicting a France victory tonight. On the other side Uruguay is a day by day improving side. Even tough Uruguay won the two of the first four world cups, we could hardly see them in the finals after 1990s. Diego Forlan the key player of Uruguay is expected to fire against the French. But I don't think a Forlan alone can make a much experienced team, with most of their players playing in European leagues, suffer.
